MESSAGE FROM THE REFEREES SOCIETY
Lee the Society has lost one of its referees to the game due to verbal abuse at a youth match (not your club), from club coaches and spectators. Could you please get the message across to the coaches/players and spectators the Society will not accept incidents like this happening. The bottom line is services will be withdrawn to clubs that resort to this behavior Ken
Parent's Information Evening - 6th November
As parents/guardians of players within the Youth Section of Saltash RFC, you are invited to attend an Information Evening at the Clubhouse, Moorlands Lane on Friday 6th November at 7.00pm.
The evening is to give you an insight into how the youth section runs here at Saltash RFC.
The New Youth Committee and many of the coaches will be on hand to discuss the following items, and we also need your feedback and ideas.
· How the youth section is run and funded, and where the money goes.
· The development of players through the age groups.
· The coaches development.
· Fund raising through ages groups, and what funds are needed for:- Tours, fun days, end of season entertainment to mention but a few.
· Ideas from the room on what you think of Saltash RFC and suggestions for improvements. We value your input.
· The need for volunteers to help on Sundays on rotational basis, and the sort of things we would like help with.
· Christmas at the club.
The bar will be open so come and enjoy a social drink or two.
As social members of the club through your child, you and your families are most welcome to come and enjoy the club facilities on any evening that the club is open.
There will be polo shirts, socks ,shorts on sale at a sale price, and the new catalogue available for orders to be taken in time for Christmas.
The Youth Committee looks forward to meeting as many of you as possible. Please pass the word around to team mates, family and friends. |
